EVENTS & SPONSORSHIPS
At Kline’s, it’s important to us that we make a difference. But we don’t want to limit that to just liquid waste!
We don’t just work in the communities we serve, we live here too. So, when we’re not repairing, servicing and installing liquid waste systems throughout the northeast, we take time to get involved with a number of fun, community-supporting activities! See below for a sampling…
Vernon PBA Local #285 – Vernon, NJ
Do you like golf? We do too. Kline’s is a regular “hole sponsor” at the Vernon PBA Local #285 Golf Outing, held at the Great Gorge Country Club.
Shawn Damstra Winter Classic – Pleasant Valley Lake In Vernon, NJ
Want to hear a true fish story? We supported the 4th Annual PVCC Fishing Tournament on February 9th, 2013 at Pleasant Valley Lake in Vernon, NJ. All donations went to benefit the Shawn Kenneth Damstra Memorial Scholarship Fund and PVCC Trout Stock.
Sussex County YMCA
Kline’s was proud to sponsor a child of the Sussex County YMCA. Financial assistance like this keeps the Y available for kids and families who need us most. If you’d like to help make a difference in the lives of so many, visit the Sussex County YMCA Website.
Toys For Tots AT THE TOP
If you’re a tot, chances are you love toys. But not all families have the resources to provide these for their children at the holidays. Our Kline’s team donates toys to Toys for Tots during the holiday season every year. It is a terrific reminder of how fortunate we are.
Co-Sponsor Of The 2012 Hawley Winterfest
The Hawley Winterfest in Hawley, PA is a fabulous tradition. This jam-packed weekend of winter activities, performances, and special events never fails to bring a smile. Kline’s was proud to be a Co-Sponsor – we hope to see you there this year!
102.3 WSUS Stuff-A-Bus Event Against Hunger Sussex County NJ
No, no, the Stuff-A-Bus event has nothing to do with jamming all your relatives into one vehicle. This event, in which WSUS 102.3 broadcasted live from various Quick Cheks over two days, focused on collecting food and donations for the Sussex County Social Services Food Pantry. Our associates collected loads of food items, including peanut butter, jelly, cereal, tuna, mac and cheese, spaghetti and sauce, all in the fight against hunger.
Volunteers For The Pike County Human Society
Kline’s volunteered at the 15th Annual Pike County Humane Society (PCHS) Tricky Tray Fundraiser, held at the Delaware Valley School Gym on Saturday, September 29th. Known locally as one of the best family-fun Tricky Tray fundraisers, the event featured more than 200 baskets valued from $50 to $75 dollars each. In addition, there were chances to win big prizes like mountain bikes and a big screen TV. Kline’s employees spent the day cooking, donating food, and offering a free septic pumping service donation for the baskets.
The Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed at The Wally Lake Fest In Hawley, PA! AT THE TOP
Participants fire up your motorcycles and joine the Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Management District (LWWMD) in August to “Ride for the Lake.” Kline’s has been a proud sponsor of this beautiful, 29-mile ride around the lake as part of the Wally Lake Fest for a few years now. LWWMD raises over $4,500 with all proceeds going to watershed improvement projects that help protect and improve lake water quality.
This wonderful nonprofit group provides aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, veterans and their families. The organization relies on donations for “Vet Packs,” which are given to homeless veterans at Stand Downs and to hospitalized veterans who need a few items while they are away from home. Kline’s collected items such as personal hygiene products and Kline’s shirts and hats for inclusion in the Vet Packs.
NJ State Fair
Kline’s has been sponsors of the NY Sate Fair held in August at the Sussex Couny Fairgrounds. We have sponsored the big pig racing event as well as the people mover helping supply trolleys to take you from one place to another.
Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) in Dingman’s Ferry, PA for yearly cleanups.
