For most of the 1800s, Denver, PA was simply called “Union Station.” Allegedly, local man Adam Brubaker grew tired of being represented only by the train station and after some quick research of names that weren’t taken he filed to be renamed. (If that were the only logic behind the name we can’t believe he passed up the little-used “Rumplestiltsville.”)
The good news is, we don’t mind whatever your town’s name might be. If it has pipes, we’ll keep them running!
