Exton sits at the intersection of US Route 30 and Pennsylvania Route 100. As early as the 18th century, these two roads were both major transportation routes. For this reason, some people claim that Exton gets its name from the “X” made by the intersection of the routes. Of course, if that simple naming logic held up universally, residents of Philadelphia would today live in “Old Cracked Bellville.”
We shudder to think what our company name would be if it were simply a function of the work we do! Kline’s is just fine, thank you very much.
